Perhaps a bit late now, but I feel compelled to close a loop. A little over 2 weeks ago, I wrote a post about our then-upcoming Editorial Board with (at-the-time) Toronto mayoral candidate Adam Giambrone.
The event was attended, and subsequently reported, by a number of our partner network journalists. Giambrone spoke about his vision of Toronto, touching on voting rights for landed immigrants, public transportation (i.e.,”Transit City”), internet voting, and poverty. That was on February 1.
By February 7 Giambrone’s world completely changed.
