Today, is National Aboriginal Day. In Richmond, British Columbia, the Aboriginal Youth Video Project involved 12 young people creating a video to showcase their experiences of living in Richmond. “The youth were encouraged to reflect on their history and current issues in society, and to include footage and reflections on Richmond’s National Aboriginal Day events which celebrate Aboriginal identity. The video is to be used to support teaching about healing and reconciliation.”
