Today, George Smitherman, Ontario’s Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, and Michael Ignatieff, leader of the Federal Liberal party will be making separate visits to our offices for editorial board round table discussions.
Both will be meeting with editors of our sister subsidiary publications, and also with editors/journalists of our own media network from the South Asian, Chinese, German, Russian, Caribbean and Filipino communities.
Should be interesting … and nice to have an event with a wide, simultaneous representation of the New Mainstream.
I’ll be attending these round table discussions and blogging live via my Twitter account, so if you have any questions or comments, please “direct message” me. Discussions with Minister Smitherman should begin around 1 pm and last about an hour; the round table with Mr. Igantieff should begin about 3 pm and also last about an hour.
