Frank Klees

As I mentioned yesterday, it’s been one crazy month.  One of our sister subsidiary publications, The Town Crier, re-launched its new website last week.  We’re still fine-tuning and receiving feedback from readers, but all reaction points to a welcome  improvement. (Also, I would be remiss for all you Whippet lovers out there if I didn’t mention @WhippetSnippets for an unsolicited shout-out … thanks Ribsy.)

At the risk of some name-dropping here, our recent slew of editorial board roundtables have also kept us hopping — from Ontario Premier, the Hon. Dalton McGuinty, to other provincial ministers such as the  Hon. Peter Fonseca, Hon. Aileen Carroll, and Hon. Jim Bradley, and Metrolinx President Robert Prichard.  So, to those editors/journalists of our own diversity media network who also attended, and for all this blog’s readers who followed my ‘tweeting’ of these press conferences and/or suggested comments/questions, thank you.

On Monday June 8, we will be hosting at our offices Frank Klees, the Ontario government Caucus Chair for the Official Opposition and Critic for the Ministry of Transportation and the Ministry of Public Infrastructure Renewal (PIR). PIR is responsible for several major government agencies including the Ontario Realty Corporation, the Liquor Control Board of Ontario, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, Infrastructure Ontario and Waterfront Toronto.  We should begin about 1 pm.  I plan to attend and do some tweeting, so if you have any comments/questions, please “direct message” me.
