In Toronto on September 29, 2008, a number of us here will be attending the MIXX Canada Conference Series, presented by IAB Canada (Montreal will also play host on October 6, 2008). The event is also accompanied by travelling half-day roadshows appearing in Montreal, Halifax, Ottawa, Calgary, Vancouver and Toronto, and then wind up with another full day conference in Toronto in March of next year.
It’s true that most marketers understand that an integrated campaign of online and offline strategies can result in increased sales and response rates. However, when considering online strategies, you can actually break these down in to quite a rich list … you’ve got your display online advertising, email, search, sponsorships, user-generated content, social media marketing, video, wikis, widgets, mobile, digital signage…quite a complex array of choices that can be a little overwhelming.
So, I’m hoping the Conference agenda and speaker line-up will prove to be a beacon of clarity; at the very least, an event to gather some info and observations that I can post here. Stay tuned.
