It’s (y)our turn

Canada’s recent political drama has clearly angered and energized many … Ipsos and The Strategic Council have released their recent surveys, the countless web sites and blogs that are increasing in numbers, the rall
Ies … even John Manley is weighing in.

But, are all Canadians voicing their opinions and being heard?

We have created a short online survey that we will be sending out to our extensive diversity media network. But, we are also opening up the survey to readers of this blog to make their opinions known.

Below I’ve posted the reasons why and the details of our survey, provided by DMS Director Joe March. Link to the survey is at the end of this post.

Canada has experienced unprecedented political upheaval in recent days. We at Diversity Media Services and at our parent company Multimedia Nova Corporation, have received many calls from community and political leaders asking about the views of those events held by Canada’s cultural demographic.

As well, the media in Canada has been claiming that it knows how the country’s ‘immigrant’ community feels about coalition governments.

We do not believe anyone can adequately speak for Canada’s diverse cultural population without first asking key representatives from that community how they actually feel. I think recent events give us as a network of partners an unprecedented opportunity to make our collective voices heard.

Would you please take a few minutes to answer the 6 questions found at the link provided below?

These questions can provide a basis for dialogue with Canada’s political leaders such as we have never had before.

All information will remain anonymous. We wish only to speak as a collective.

Thank you in advance for your participation. If you have any comments or questions, please feel free to contact me.

Best regards,
Joe

As a reader of this blog, we invite you to take part in this survey, and you can do so by clicking here. If you have already filled it out, thank you. We appreciate your views and your time. Your answers to the questions will remain confidential and no records will be kept as to who answers the questions. Responses will be summarized and will be published as percentage values only in an upcoming post.
