The feedback we are receiving on our recent Multicultural Publisher’s Networking Event has been extremely positive and inspiring!
It’s unanimous: all indicated they would attend a similar event (either semi-annually, or annually) and also expressed interest in hearing more information on a number of topics including distribution, printing and marketing; news-sharing; and advertising, networking and circulation.
A number of publishers also suggested topics for future DMS-related events including more communications among publishers and clients, journalism, media management, marketing, distribution outlets and cross cultural editorials.
Over the coming weeks and months we will be addressing a number of these suggestions — either by internal procedures or communications, or by similar events, such as the one last Tuesday evening.
In the meantime, I’m leaving just a couple of links, here, that may be of interest:
- Alltop — “all the top sites” — is a great resource to find out what’s being talked about on the web covering a wide-range of topics. I personally try and visit the Journalism portal every day. It’s not that pretty of a site, but extremely comprehensive. They’ve also recently launched a Muslim alltop.
- The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario recently launched their first-ever participation in Asian Heritage month. You can read their press release by clicking here.
